PlayStation 3 to Launch in March, Nintendo Revolution in June

Well, we're pretty sure that Microsoft's Xbox 360 is set for a November 2005 release, but what about its next-generation console competition? According to reports, Sony will launch its PlayStation 3 console on March 15, 2006, and, contrary to the rumor mill, the device will retail for $399.99, about $100 less than expected. Nintendo's secretive little Revolution console, meanwhile, is set for a June 15, 2006 launch, and it should cost $299. Are these dates for real? No one really knows for sure. But one thing is certain: With at least a 4-month head start on the competition, Xbox 360 should be looking good this holiday season
