Microsoft Takes TV, Video Content to Go

Last week, Microsoft debuted its MSN Video Downloads service, which provides subscribers with a host of portable video content from TV shows and other content creators. Available in free and paid subscription versions, MSN Video Downloads features content from such providers as the Food Network, FOX Sports, IFILM, MSNBC, and many others. Content ranges from children's shows (Paddington Bear, Animal Crackers) to news and sports (MLB, NASCAR, NBA, and NFL and coverage, segments from Today) to comedy, movie trailers, and music videos and live concerts. MSN Video Downloads requires Windows Media Player (WMP) 10 and is optimized for the displays on portable devices such as Windows-powered smart phones and Pocket PCs, and Portable Media Centers
