Microsoft Opens Office Communities Portal

Last week, Microsoft launched a new Office Communities Web site that showcases public newsgroups for Office products. Site visitors can use a browser interface to read newsgroup messages and submit new questions or responses. By breaking down the list of newsgroups into categories for individuals, the enterprise, and small businesses, the site makes it easier to find the right newsgroup to post a question. The site also provides a small number of how-to articles and links to other Office resources at Microsoft and elsewhere.
