Training and Certification

Boot Camp. More than 75 percent of readers gave Mountain View Systems' Windows Server 2003 MCSE Boot Camp the highest grade. Its popularity is partially due to instructor James Carrion, the Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine columnist who leads this 20-day training program. Boot camp graduates speak highly of Carrion. Daniel Schoening of Harley-Davidson notes that, "James was 100 percent knowledgeable of the subject matter, could answer any question, and lead me through to a successful MCSE. Totally the best training I have ever participated in." Boot camp graduates earn not only the MCSE certification but also the MCSE: Security, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MSCA), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications.

Instructor-Led Training. According to Windows IT Pro readers, Mountain View Systems offers the best instructor-led training. Besides offering the Windows Server 2003 MCSE Boot Camp (which won the Best Boot Camp award), Mountain View Systems offers instructor led training in a variety of other areas. The instructor-led training programs include a 6-day course on how to plan for and implement a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 system and a 7-day course to help attain the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. "The environment is well thought-out to provide the students with the absolute preeminent place to obtain your certification," says Thom Pritchett, CCNA course participant. "The instructors are certified professionals who sense the students' ability to absorb information and adjust the schedule accordingly."
