While installing device drivers during the later portion of Setup, Windows XP Home Edition Setups stops. Your only choice is to restart your computer.
If Setup misidentifies a device and install an incompatible driver, you will experience this behavior.
To workaround this issue:
1. Perform the steps in tip 6122 - How can I get a Windows XP upgrade to prompt me for each device driver it wants to install?
2. Choose which device drivers to install for each device in your computer.
