JSI Tip 5166. How do I use the robust Windows XP Terminal Services client on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000?

If you install the appropriate Terminal Services Client on Windows NT 4.0 and/or Windows 2000, you can use the Windows XP Terminal Services client.

Just copy the %Systemroot%\System32\mstsc.exe and %Systemroot%\System32\mstscax.dll files from Windows XP over  these same files on your Windows NT and Windows 2000 computers. You must  locate these files, which may be in a Program Files sub-folder.

This is obviously unsupported, but it works well.
