JSI Tip 0649 - SBS can not get name resolution from your ISP's DNS server.

You can connect to your ISP from SBS but when you try to resolve a host name, you receive:

Bad IP Address <hostname>

You can Ping the host by IP address. You may not be able to connect to FTP, HTTP, and Telnet resources on the Internet.

If you are not using the Proxy server, disable the Winsock Proxy Agent:

In Control Panel, double-click the WSP Client icon.

Clear the Enable the WinSock Proxy Client check box.

Close the configuration screen and restart the computer.
