SpeakerCraft announced the upcoming release of the Music On Demand Experience (MODE). The MODE—a full-color, wall-mounted screen interface with a scroll wheel and push button controls—lets home owners access and control all their multimedia equipment, including the iPod, in as many as six rooms throughout the home. MODE uses the SpeakerCraft multi-zone control (MZC) system for controlling hard-disk music servers, satellite radios, AM/FM radio tuners, and all other sources that respond to infrared commands. MODE’s sleek design and interactive display screen strike a nice balance between style and functionality.
