Last fall at the Professional Developers Conference 2003, Microsoft unveiled a fascinating video demonstrating some of the UI concepts it is working on for Longhorn, its next major Windows version. Accompanied by a pounding rock song, the video was inspirational for the programmers in attendance, who were eager to see the directions Microsoft will take in the future. Though I had previously posted a movie showing the video from my position in the PDC keynote audience, I recently got hold of a version of the video, and so am now presenting some key frames from the video.
