If your SCSI BIOS does not have full INT 13h support, you may receive a "Trap E" message while booting, if you use the SCSI syntax in C:\boot.ini.
Try the following possible workarounds:
1. Create a NTbootdd.sys in the C: root that is a copy of your SCSI driver. It must be less the 64KB.
2. If your SCSI BIOS has full INT 13h support for just a one or two drives, make the boot disk a supported drive.
3. Try using a boot floopy.
4. Replace your SCSI adapter with one that has full INT 13h support.
