When you attempt to access an administrative share (C$, D$, etc..), you receive:

The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.

This is usually caused by removing the local Administrator account from the local Administrators group on the validating domain controller.

On the PDC:

. Add the Administrator account to the local Administrators group.

. Insure that Domain Admins is a member of the local Administrators group.

. Synchronize the domain.
