Syncfusion has released a new version of Essential Studio 2012, which now includes a cloud-ready report designer and viewer that works with Windows Azure. The report designer and viewer works with any cloud service that supports a Windows-based deployment environment. In addition, this release is 100 percent Report Definition Language (RDL) compliant. The latest version includes several improvements, including the following:
- new iOS and Android mobile web application themes
- OLAP grid framework lets developers deploy business intelligence (BI) solutions through the ASP.NET MVC framework
- enhanced PDF view with bar code display
- new PDF display framework that doesn't require any software development kits (SDKs) or external dependencies
