Typemock , a provider of unit-testing solutions for Microsoft .NET, Windows, and Linux software development, announced the release of Isolator 6.2, the latest version of Typemock's Isolator .NET unit-testing tool. A highlight of Isolator 6.2 is its integration with two software development tools from JetBrains: dotCover and dotTrace Performance.
The added integration with dotCover and dotTrace Performance extend Isolator by adding dotCover's code-coverage checking capabilities and dotTrace Performance's performance profiling, which will help developers identify performance bottlenecks in their code.
JetBrains and Typemock executives praised the synergies of their respective tools. "We are delighted to have worked with Typemock to ensure that our tools work in harmony," said Oleg Stepanov, JetBrains .NET Division Project Lead. "dotCover and dotTrace working side-by-side with Isolator .NET will help more unit testing practitioners maintain adequate code coverage, even when dealing with legacy code." And from Eli Lopian, CEO of Typemock: "dotCover checks your code coverage which provides developers with that extra level of confidence. These tools complement each other so much, we couldn't think of a better unit testing experience."
Isolator 6.2 also includes an improved IntelliTest test-code auto-completion tool. IntelliTest makes writing unit tests easier and more productive by generating the test code, instead of the developer doing so. In addition, Typemock Isolator Server includes easier integration with Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

Typemock has also added a risk-free trial feature, to enable developers to continue running any unit tests they wrote using the trial version of Isolator, even after their trial period expires.
