Mac OS X Security Update Fixes Dozens of Vulnerabilities

Apple released a major security update for Mac OS X. Security Update 2005-007  fixes dozens of vulnerabilities, including problems in Apache, Kerberos, MySQL, OpenSSL, and many other system components.

If you're interested in more information about the vulnerabilities then you can find some amount of detail in
Secunia's Advisory SA16449 .

Soon after Apple released Security Update 2005-007 it was discovered that the update breaks 64-bit applications on Tiger systems. Apple pulled the update to correct the problem and reissued it as Security Update 2005-007 v1.1. If you loaded the initial release on Tiger then be sure to load v1.1
