Picks and tips

Windows Weekly tip of the week: Get up to speed on Office 2007/2010 ribbon with Search Commands--a new tab for Office 2007/2010 apps that helps you find the commands you used to use in the old interface (Thanks to Mark Evans for the tip) and a new version of Ribbon Hero, a new game that teaches how to use features and functionality within Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote.

This week's app picks: Twitter

Windows 7 app pick: MetroTwit - Awesome native Windows 7 client written with .NET 4 and WPF 4 frameworks, with a nice Zune look and feel.

Windows Phone 7 app pick: Twitter (official client) and Rowi

Mobile app pick: TweetDeck (multiple platforms) - Clients available for Windows, Mac, and Linux (via AIR), iPhone, iPad, Android and Chrome OS/Chrome web browser. A general web client is in beta and coming soon.

My favorite twitter client (for now?): DestroyTwitter - This one is an AIR app, is very simple looking, has some nice skins, and has everything I happen to be looking for in a Twitter client.
