A British judge ruled this week that Apple Computer can continue using its apple-shaped logo in conjunction with its iTunes Music Store, despite a 1991 legal agreement between the company and Apple Corps that Apple Computer wouldn't enter the music business. Apple Corps, which controls The Beatles' recording catalog and interests, argues that Apple Computer should be barred from using the logo because consumers might confuse the service with Apple Corps, which also uses an apple-shaped logo. Apple Corps vows to appeal the verdict; most experts expected Apple Computer to lose the case in the first place
