JSI Tip 8837. When you use Windows XP to copy music files to a CD-R or CD-RW disc, the files are not cleared from the temporary storage area?

The subject problem only occurs with music files, because Windows Media Player, used to record the music files, does NOT delete them from the temporary storage area.

To empty the temporary storage area:

1. Open My Computer.

2. Double-click your recorder drive.

3. The music files are listed under Files Ready to Be Written to the CD. Press Delete temporary files under CD Writing Tasks.
