Registration has started for Connections Europe 2006 which will be held at the Acropolis Congress and Exhibition Centre in Nice from April 24-27 and is co-promoted by the Windows IT Pro UK team and co-sponsored by Microsoft.

The event is four conferences rolled into one. For €1450, delegates can pick and choose between the Microsoft ASP.NET Connections, Visual Studio Connections, SQL Server Magazine Connections and the Microsoft Exchange Connections programmes of sessions and workshops. There are also additional streams covering SharePoint and Windows security.

“Our Connections technology conferences are very successful in the United States,” said Penton Media’s Tech Conferences president, Shirley Brothers, as registration opened. “We expect this launch in Europe to be the start of a series of successful events overseas. Attendees will hear directly from Microsoft architects and industry gurus about the next generation of software advances, and Microsoft programme managers and architects will provide insights into the future of the .NET platform and products. We will have more expert speakers at Connections Europe than at any other event of its kind.”

Over 50 top-level speakers from Microsoft and its partners will present over 100 sessions. The attendance fee includes a CD of the conferences’ proceedings with speaker slides and sample code, lunches, networking receptions and more. Early bird rates are still available until March 15.
