Q. How can I uninstall the Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 Advanced Client?

A. To remove the SMS Advanced Client from a machine, you can use the ccmclean.exe utility, which is found in SMS 2003 Toolkit 2. After you run ccmclean.exe, the SMS database will still show the machine in its inventory because the ccmclean.exe tool doesn't report the client's removal to the SMS server. If the computer remains unrefreshed for 90 days (by default), SMS will remove the machine from the SMS database.
