When Exchange server in SBS is installed, the IMS (Internet Mail Service) is installed without setting the MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) types. They default to U.S.A. settings. When you use the Internet Connection Wizard to sign up an ISP, the MIME is set to the language for the location the server resides in. This is done by the Exsetapi.dll file.

If you configure the SBS connection to your ISP manually, you may incorrectly set the MIME type. To configure the IMS manually:

1. Open the IMS page in the Exchange Server Administrator program.

2. Select the Mail tab.

3. Configure the MIME settings.
