February’s Second Microsoft Band Update to Deliver Golf Updates, Guided Workout Distance, and Social Sharing

The update is not yet available, but Microsoft has kicked off the process to commence the rollout of a second update this month to every Band 2 owner. Earlier this month, Microsoft delivered some amazing new capabilities including workout sharing, weight tracking, GPS Power Saver mode and activity reminders.

In this new update, here’s what Microsoft says is coming…

  • Distance tracking for Guided Workouts – this is a highly requested feature!

  • Tournament Mode for golf

  • New activity summary sharing capabilities for Facebook, Twitter, email, and text messages.

  • New public dashboard for friends and family to view your activities

  • Connect Cortana to your Microsoft Health account (instructions HERE)

As always, we’ll be digging deep into each feature when they are available.
