Thanks to Janus Boye for tipping me off about the latest release of the Opera Web browser. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Opera, it is a small, fast, customizable, powerful but user-friendly browser that bucks the trend of today's 10-25 MB browser downloads by offering itself up in a tiny 1 MB download. Opera offers a full keyboard interface and full compliance with the latest HTML standards (the real standards, not the Netscape and Microsoft add-ons). It also uses a unique multi-window interface for navigating multiple sites.
