How can I configure DNS to use a WINS server?

A. Is is possible to configure the DNS to use a WINS server to resolve the host name of a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).

Start DNS manager (Start - Programs - Administrative Tools - DNS Manager)
Right click on the zone you wish to communicate with the WINS server and select properties
Click the "WINS Lookup" tab
Select the "Use WINS Resolution" check box and then enter the WINS server IP address and click ADD
Click OK when finished
