CYRANO announced new services that provide detailed Web site load testing and firewall vulnerability scanning. CYRANO uses its own software and hardware and performs the fixed-fee services offsite. CYRANO load-test experts record specified business processes, create test scripts, run a load test, analyze the results, and produce interactive real-time graphs and reports. The load and stress analysis, which requires up to five days, includes scripts for a specified number of transactions and simultaneous users and provides detailed analysis of a Web site’s performance under load. The firewall vulnerability service uses an automated tool to probe the security of a Web site and related servers. The CYRANO e-secure products scan both sides of a firewall to provide complete real-time information about firewall filtering rules, relative hosts behind the firewall, and outgoing and incoming packet filtering. The procedure ensures fewer errors and omissions and fully documented results.
