On Wednesday, Microsoft announced the availability of SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 1. This service pack includes a production-ready version of Database Mirroring, SQL Server Management Studio Express, and SAP business intelligence support. In addition, the service pack offers a new option for SQL Server 2005 Express Edition users: In addition to the standard Express download, users will have the option to also download SQL Server Management Studio Express, Reporting Services, and Full-Text Search.
