SecureWave Brings Device and Application Control Together

Device control and application control on the endpoint are coming together—at least they are in one product: SecureWave's Sanctuary 4.0. According to SecureWave VP of Marketing and Corporate Development, Dennis Szerszen, people are starting to use their removable media to launch applications, and three-quarters of SecureWave customers are interested in both device control and application control, so SecureWave recently took the step of offering both capabilities in one software product for customers. Sanctuary 4.0 lets customers create policies that whitelist approved devices (such as portable storage devices) and applications for their organization.
