SQL Server Mission-Critical Support from Microsoft

Microsoft announced it has added mission-critical system support to its Premier Support service. Premier Mission Critical Support offers round-the-clock support for mission-critical apps, including guaranteed response times to speed up problem resolution, as well as expedited access to Microsoft product development teams to assist with incident management, root cause identification, and patch creation, if necessary. The new service covers mission-critical solutions such as Windows Server and SQL Server."More customers than ever before are entrusting their mission-critical applications to SQL Server 2008," said Dan Neault, general manager, SQL Server product marketing at Microsoft. "With Premier Mission Critical, customers receive our highest level of enhanced support and direct expertise from the SQL Server product team to quickly respond to immediate customer issues, minimize costly downtime, and prevent future occurrences."
