Windows 2000 lets an administrator linkGroup Policy to several different domains, sites, and organizational units. Before youdelete a Group Policy, you must be sure no container still links to the Group Policy. Tocheck a Group Policy's links, perform the following steps:

  1. Start the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in (Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, Active Directory Users and Computers).

  2. Right-click a container that links to the Group Policy you want to
    check.

  3. Select the Group Policy tab.

  4. Select the Links tab.

  5. Select the domain you want to search for the Group Policy and click Find Now. You'll see a list of all containers linking to the selected Group Policy.
