JSI Tip 9416. The Windows XP battery alarm (sound and message) did not work when I entered hibernation or standby?

If you recently configured the battery alarm settings on your Windows XP computer, the first time you enter hibernation or standby may result in the battery alarms not invoking.

This behavior occurs because battery alarm settings are NOT synchronized before hibernation or standby by design.
