Microsoft Ignite: Watch Online and Follow All of Our Coverage

Microsoft's annual mega conference, Ignite, takes place in Atlanta, GA starting next Monday and running until 30 September.

The Redmond company confirmed last week that the event is completely sold out however, you can watch the main keynote on Monday morning and likely other sessions online through the Microsoft Ignite website.

You should also expect various sessions from the conference to make their way to Microsoft's Channel 9 video portal just like last year. In fact, it seemed that sessions came online within about 24 to 36 hours after they were presented in 2015 so you should have pretty fast access to them through that option this year as well.

Of course myself and Lisa Schemeiser from the SuperSite: Windows and Michael Morisy from our sister site ITPro: Windows will all be on site for Ignite 2016 to bring you hands on coverage from the keynote and all the sessions that we will be attending to learn more about the technologies and strategies being shared by Microsoft and their partners.

To keep up with us and our experience at this year's conference be sure to also follow us on Twitter where we will share images and insight throughout the week:

Myself - @WinObs

Lisa - @lschmeiser

Michael - @morisy

There is a very large expo floor at this years conference just like in years past and we will be able to talk to a lot of Microsoft folks about different technologies. If you have a specific question that you would like us to try and address let us know in the comments and we will work on that for you.

You can download the entire expo guide (PDF, 4.5MB, 7 pages) to get a sense for everything that will be represented on the show floor.

I served for 29 plus years in the U.S. Navy and retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer in November 2011. My work background in the Navy was telecommunications related so my hobby of computers fit well with what I did for the Navy. I consider myself a tech geek and enjoy most things in that arena.

My first website – AnotherWin95.com – came online in 1995. Back then I used GeoCities Web Hosting for it and WindowsObserver.com is the result of the work I have done on that site since 1995.

In January 2010 my community contributions were recognized by Microsoft when I received my first Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award for the Windows Operating System. Since then I have been renewed as a Microsoft MVP each subsequent year since that initial award. I am also a member of the inaugural group of Windows Insider MVPs which began in 2016.

I previously hosted the Observed Tech PODCAST for 10 years and 317 episodes and now host a new podcast called Faith, Tech, and Space.

I began contributing to Penton Technology websites in January 2015 and in April 2017 I was hired as the Senior Content Producer for Penton Technology which is now Informa Tech. In that role, I contribute to ITPro Today and cover operating systems, enterprise technology, and productivity.
