Learn about OneNote during a Free Six-Day Online Conference
My catalyst for making the move to full time use of OneNote was a 90 minute session during an MVP Summit. This unique six day conference might just be the push you are looking for to make the same move.
I do not hide the fact that I am a huge OneNote fan. It has allowed me to go paperless on so many levels and with it being tied to my OneDrive cloud my data in OneNote is easily accessible across all of my Windows devices and my Android phone.
Even before I sat in on a 90 minute OneNote session at the Microsoft MVP Summit a few years ago, I did know about OneNote a couple of years earlier. Back then it was still not a mainstream tool for many consumers but that has certainly changed over the last few years.
Today we have a Win32 version called OneNote 2016, a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app simply called OneNote and of course there are mobile versions for devices based on Windows, Android and iOS.
The ecosystem for OneNote is very robust so if you are not currently using the service, are an entry level user, an advanced user, or maybe an education user then you should consider the upcoming free OneNote online conference to learn more about how you can better use OneNote.
The conference runs between the 12th and 17th of November and the great thing about it is that you are not required to sit down in front of your computer for hours each day while it is being presented.
This unique conference will provide pre-recorded videos from OneNote experts around the world that will you will be able to watch right then or later.
Ultimately, it is up to you when and where you consume the content from the videos but they must be viewed no later than 48 hours after the last video is shown on 17 November because all video content will be removed then. Notices are sent out to registered attendees when the videos are posted each day.
There is no cost to register for this event so head on over to the Learn OneNote Conference 2016 webpage to get registered and see all the details about the speakers.
There is an option to purchase a Lifetime Access pass to watch the sessions after the conference is over but is not required to watch them during the event.
The six days of the event are organized as follows:
Day 1: Getting started with OneNote
Day 2: Powerful OneNote features
Day 3: OneNote for life
Day 4: OneNote for business
Day 5: OneNote for education
Day 6: OneNote for education (Continued)
So it could be very easy to focus your attention on those days that are more aligned with your usage of OneNote and then use the extra time to watch all of those related videos for free before the conference is over on the 17th of November.
I hope you choose to take advantage of this free opportunity and learn more about OneNote and now it can be a very powerful tool in your daily work/personal life.
But, wait...there's probably more so be sure to follow me on Twitter and Google+.
