When you run the Sysprep mini-setup wizard, TCP/IP settings that you statically entered, like DNS server settings, may be lost.
When a Sysprep image is placed on a computer with a different NIC, the NIC is installed and defaults to DHCP assigned values.
Since Windows 2000 stores TCP/IP settings on a per adapter basis, TCP/IP settings can NOT be stored in the Sysprep.inf file. This is by design.
You can use Netset.exe to apply the settings after setup.
