Can storage spaces direct (S2D) be used on the free Microsoft Hyper-V Server? Hmmmmm

Q. Does Hyper-V Server support Storage Spaces Direct?
A. No. Storage Spaces Direct is only available in the Datacenter SKU of Windows Server 2016 and so is not part of the free Hyper-V Server. To implement a hyper-converged solution where the storage and compute is combined you would need to use Windows Server 2016 Datacenter SKU.
