David Harley has worked for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund in London, England, since 1989 in administration and in network, systems, and desktop support. He currently manages anti-virus and security issues. He has been an active member of EICAR and works with ICSA on Macintosh security. His publication and conference credits include Virus Bulletin, EICAR and SANS, and papers, articles, and FAQs on programming, operating systems, viruses and malware management, and the psychosocial aspects of security. He maintains the Mac Virus, Sherpasoft, and Security Sceptic Web sites, and is currently working on a projected book for Osborne/McGraw-Hill. He lives in London with his 10-year-old daughter and a glut of guitars and computers.
