Windows 8.1 Book: Calendar 0.1

Just the start of the Calendar chapter

Here's a very early version of the next chapter in progress for Windows 8.1 Book, Calendar. This is just the basics, with a few early sections filled out. But I think this chapter will come together quickly and not be as long as the last one.

In fact, I'm kind of hoping that the obvious nature of a calendar app works to our advantage as I'd rather not dive too deeply into the patently obvious. So the focus here will be on the interaction between accounts and the Calendar app (curiously limited), the weird new What's New view, and events/meetings. At least that's the plan.

The only section that's fully fleshed out is the visual tour, though I'm wondering if short descriptions of a few other commons UIs wouldn't make sense. (Events have a colored border but all-day events are solid-colored, for example.) The accounts section seems too short to me, and I need to test Google-type accounts as well.

Anyway, just the basics for this first pass. I should have more by the end of the weekend.

Feedback is always appreciated.
