The new Xbox Video app provides a friendly, full-screen interface to the TV show and movie content Microsoft provides through its online marketplace as well as your own PC-based videos. These capabilities, formerly provided by legacy solutions like Windows Media Player and Zune, are now part of Microsoft’s Xbox entertainment brand, and they complement similar capabilities in Windows 8 for music, video games, and Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE interactivity.
