Where is the log file stored for printers deployed via the Windows Server 2003 R2 Print Management console?

A. If you used the -log switch with the PushPrinterConnections.exe file to deploy per-user print connections, a log file is created in the "Local Settings\Temp" folder of the user's profile (e.g., C:\Documents and Settings\bruce\Local Settings\Temp), which contains the details of printer creations, as the following sample output shows:

Microsoft Windows Operating System Deploy Printer Connections Utility v1.0 ... Logging enabled by command line switch.
... Logging started at 3:59:45 PM 11/2/2006.
... Found and applied this GPO: Printers.
... Found Deployed Printer Connection setting \\SAVDALDC01\HP Color LaserJet 8500 PS in Active Directory.
... Failed to search local GPO. Access is denied.
... There are no connections to remove.
... Deploying user connection \\SAVDALDC01\HP Color LaserJet 8500 PS.

For per-machine-based deployments, a file called ppcMachine.log is created in the %temp% path of the machine; it has the same syntax and type of content as a user log file.
