When you attempt to view the releases notes for the Windows Server 2003 Support Tools, or the Windows Server 2003 SP1 (Service Pack 1) Support tools, you are prompted to install them.

This behavior will occur if the Windows Server 2003 Support Tools, or the Windows Server 2003 SP1 Support Tools, were installed on your computer, using a different account than the one you are currently logged on as.

To resolve this problem, you can delete the Release Notes shortcut and create a new one, or you can:

1. Open a CMD.EXE window.

2. Type the following command and press Enter:

REG ADD HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Suptools\RegKeyPath /V Shortcut_CoSuptools /T REG_DWORD /F /D 1

3. Log off and log on.
