Microsoft Updates Windows 10 Technical Preview as it prepares to ship next build

I don't know about you but I find myself ready to move on from the latest released build of the Windows 10 Technical Preview about 7-10 days after it is released.

I mean I dive in and explore the OS and what is different, try it on various hardware, etc. but I get that work done in about a week or so then it is time to move forward.

Now I know Microsoft has been moving fast with the Windows Insider program and getting us new builds to test, in fact build 9926 is quickly approaching its one month anniversary of being released, but it feels like forever since we had that build.

Well do not fret because the Windows Insider Ring Master himself, Gabe Aul, has brought us news via Twitter that should give us reason to be hopeful about an upcoming build release to Insiders.

The text of the two knowledge base articles he is referring to both have this tidbit of text in them:

This update will assist with installing future builds.

Music to an Insiders ears no doubt!

Now Microsoft still wants to make sure your current build of the Windows 10 Technical Preview is up to date while we wait so Gabe also mentioned a roll up fix for Internet Explorer that was released today for build 9926.

Now let the speculation begin on when the next build will be released.  My prognastication is by the end of this week. What do you think?
