JSI Tip 9081. After you upgrade Windows Server 2003 to SP1, Web extensions in that were allowed in IIS 6.0 are now prohibited?

An example of the subject behavior would be if an ASP.NET Web service extension was set to Allowed in the IIS Manager MMC snap-in being set to Prohibited after the upgrade.

To workaround this behavior:

1. Log on with administrative privileges.

2. Open IIS Manager from Administrative Tools.

3. Expand <Computer Name> (local computer) and press Web Service Extensions.

4. Using the details pane, right-click each Web extension that you wish to enable and press Allow.
