JSI Tip 7826. The Windows Media Player 9 series playlist only plays the first sound file when the Web page is hosted on Windows Server 2003?

When you attempt to play a Windows Media Player .ASX file from a Web page, only the first sound file is played.

This behavior will occur if all of the following are true:

- The Web page uses an embedded Windows Media Player control with the classID for Windows Media Player version 6.4.

- The Windows Media Player autostart control property is set to false.

To prevent this behavior, do not use the autostart property.  See HOW TO: Play audio files by using Visual Basic .NET
