JSI Tip 6642. Some Web pages require 'Allow META REFRESH' to be 'Enabled' when viewed from Windows Server 2003.

When you view a Web page from Internet Explorer on Windows Server 2003, the page does NOT display correctly. A case in point is when you press the WPP's button in the publish destination of FrontPage, the list of Web Presence Providers is NOT displayed properly.

This is an issue if the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration feature is enabled and the Allow META REFRESH feature is Disabled.

To enable the Allow META REFRESH feature:

1. Use the Internet Explorer Tools menu and press Internet Options.

2. Select the Security tab.

3. Select the Internet zone and press Custom Level.

4. Press Enabled for the Allow META REFRESH option.

5. Press OK.

6. Press Yes when prompted to confirm the change..

7. Press OK.

NOTE: On the Internet Explorer Help menu, press Enhanced Security Configuration.

NOTE: You could add the site to the Trusted Sites security zone instead.
