At MMS 2012 in Las Vegas Microsoft demoed various members of the the new System Center 2012 management suite. All of the products showed a strong cloud and service focus. One of the products with the most changes was Virtual Machine Manager 2012. Some of the new features include:
- The ability to manage Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, and Citrix XenServer
- A new service template model
- Integration with server application virtualization
- Self service provisioning
