With all the bad news surrounding Apple Computer these days, it stands to reason that the media is jumping all over their problems. While these problems are very real, there have been a few recent signs of health from the beleaguered company. Recently, a Swedish company called Infinit Information AB offered a $13,500 prize to anyone who could break into the Apple Internet Server. The prize went un-won, as no one was able to "crack the Mac." Infinit said they would try again this month. Also, Apple recently released a 300 MHz PowerPC system, becoming the first company to release a system this fast. This gives Apple bragging rights to the fastest personal computer and laptop computer on the market, at least temporarily: Intel will release a 300 MHz Pentium II in two weeks
