New Trojan Heckles While It Works

PandaLabs reported the discovery of a new Trojan that talks as it destroys your system. The company said that BotVoice.A uses the Windows text reader to play the words "You have been infected - I repeat you have been infected and your system files have been deleted. Sorry. Have a nice day and bye bye."

The words are repeated continuously as the Trojan performs a variety of actions, including blocking use of the registry editor and modifying registry entries to prevent the use of system tools as it tries to erase the contents of the hard drive.

PandaLabs said the Trojan is spreading via usual channels, including Internet downloads, malicious Web pages, peer to peer networks, and via storage devices such as flash drives and CD-ROMs.
