Rumors are circulating once again that Sun Microsystems will purchase Netscape Communications, makers of the Navigator & Communicator Web browser products. Netscape's stock closed up 5.81 on Thursday in response to the persistent rumors and CEO Jim Barksdale, who only earned a $1 salary last year, elected this month to return a grant of 300,000 shares to the company.
