Netscape Communications has released a new version of Communicator, upgrading the venerable Internet client suite to version 4.6. Communicator 4.6 includes AOL Instant Messenger 2.0, security fixes and other bug fixes to 4.51, and Real Audio's G2 player. Netscape will be releasing a beta version of its long-overdue Communicator 5.0 suite sometime this summer.
