Q. What is the version of Windows Server being released in 2016 called and the other products?
A. The following announcements have been made related to the naming of future versions and new services:
- Windows Server 2016 and will include Nano Server deployment option and Windows Containers with compatibility with Docker
- System Center 2016
- Microsoft Azure Stack - Brings an Azure consistent experience to on-premises and a number of services such as aspects of IaaS, PaaS and resource groups
- Microsoft Operations Management Suite (OMS) - Cloud-based service for management of hybrid environments including on-premises, Azure, AWS, OpenStack and more. This will also integrate with System Center. Both Windows and Linux will be supported.
