Microsoft releases new media player

Microsoft Corporation has released the final version of its new Windows Media Player, a new application that plays virtually every kind of media file from one location, alleviating the need to download and install different players for different kinds of media. The Windows Media Player will play content compatible with NetShow, WAV, AVI, QuickTime, RealAudio, and RealVideo.
