Microsoft to release Visual C++ for Windows CE

Microsoft will release Visual C++ for Windows CE, a $200 add-in for Visual C++ 5.0 that allows developers to create Windows CE applications. VC++ for CE includes support for CE machines with Hitachi, MIPs, and NEC processors. Also included with the package is a CE emulator that allows you to run Windows CE apps on your Windows 95 or NT 4.0 machine.

Also in the works: CE versions of Visual Basic 5.0 and Visual J++ 1.1
